Well, my 5th gear is grinding pretty bad now so after reseaching on here and seeing many evos have the same issue, i just wanted to know if anyone know a rough estimate of how much it costs to have new synchros put in. Im sure a pretty penny, but need to know since i have no choice. Im going to try the amsoil synchromesh first, but im sure the synchro is going so im preparing to get it fixed soon.

 

I sent it to TRE it roughly cost 1200 basic + labor + shipping
roughly around 2k I added a few more stuff to make it last longer on track

no sir no syncromesh for you, you need a 75W90 for the GSR 5spd.
