Hey guys,
I'm thinking about getting a Motec M800 and not sure if I should go for the gold box or just the PnP version.
If I go for the PnP version, will I be able to:
1) Runing MSD 6AL CDI ignition box?
2) Will I be able to remove the injector resistor pack and use the low impedant fuel Injector?
How customizable is the PnP compare to the universal gold box M800?
Cheers

Anyone know how I can get the ECU casing for EVO 8. I just need the casing for the M800 OEM PnP board.
Oh well, I might end up selling this Unit.
Would anyone interested in buying the
Motec M800 OEM PnP for Evo8?

That's a board for a JDM Evo 8 or an Evo9. It's not plug and play for a US Evo8.

second picture on left. board is stamped evo 8. not us market board since its got three plugs.
This board is bought from europe Motec. I have spoken with Motec east and Motec Australia that this is the first batch 3-plugs M800 PnP board made for EVO8.
According to Motec document, EVO8 has 4 plugs version(earlier) and a 3 plugs(later version). Eventhough it's printed EVO8, it will support EVO9 as well but you have to enable the CAM Control which even if you buy a EVO9 board, you still have to pay for that option.

PM me your email and I'll send you guys the document I got from Motec so you can see for yourself if it will work for your application.
I'm sure you all know but this is the board that is used in the EVOIII FQ-400 MR. Same board was used on the EVOIX FQ as well.

Biggest differences between the gold box and the PnP is there were thermal considerations with the PnP and the total driver wattage is limited, can't run peak and hold injectors. Other than that they are functionally the same, in fact have better circuit protection in some areas.
GrocMax,
Thanks for clarifying that. This board DOES NOT have peak and hold driver. It will run the saturated injector directly or low impedance injector with appropriate resistor pack.
Bosch 1000cc saturated injector by dynamic injectors is a great break through and are the way to go anyway, so I don't think the peak and hold is that important anymore.

Bump!
I hook up a laptop to the board and confirmed that it has "lambda single" option enabled.
Anyone interested?
