Finally, she is coming together! (Stroker Build)

As some may know, I spun a main bearing about three or so months back. After months of work and plenty of money I am finally starting to get this thing together. My motor is finally looking like....well....a motor.

MORE PROGRESS PAGE 2

To give you all an idea of whats goin on with the motor....

Eagle stroker crank
Manley "I" beam rods
JE stroker pistons
ACL race bearings
Cosworth CNC ported head
1mm oversized valves
Supertech valve springs and retainers
Kelford 280 cams
ARP head and main studs
OEM head gasket
ETS Equal Length manifold
ETS o2 housing and down pipe
JMFabrication intake manifold
Works throttle body
Boost Logic FMIC
ETS intercooler piping
Tial Q BOV
AMS 1000hp fuel kit
FIC bluemax 1250's
AMS fuel rail
All stainless, braided lines
Turbonetics 37r

cant remember if thats all but it'll do for now.

Here are a couple pics:

I will keep this thread updated with pictures as the build continues.

Whoa! That's a nice list of parts! What are your goals?

Just curious, but after you spun the main bearing, was the block ok or did you have to get it line-bored? Oversized main bearings now?

Was the bottomend stock when the failure occured?

Are you doing the assembly yourself?

Can't wait to see more progress pics!

Thanks man. Goal for now is to see how laggy that 37r is on pump I will go with E85 in a while when it is more readily available in my area.

The block is pretty much bullet proof. The only things that were completely ruined was the crank and rods. I would NEVER go with oversized bearings on a build like this.

No, it was not stock. It was a stroker built by a reputable shop. I was running a Precision gt35r. PM me if you want to know who that shop was. lol. I do not want to bash anyone on an open thread.

I had a shop out of San Antonio, JMS Racing do the internals. I was not completely comfortable doing that as I was not prepared to spend this kind of money again. Everything else has/is being done by myself

Werd. Car also has AMS 1000hp fuel kit (inline fuel pump). FIC bluemax 1250's I think? AMS fuel rail, all stainless fuel lines, etc

This turbo previously made 704whp on a 2.0L evo, I think that was race gas though.

Can't wait to see/drive it on the street again. I'm going to romp on that sh*t. Sievers already knows that though.
