hey guys and girls .

I currently have a EVO 8 MR . It has a built bottom end with:
- Arias Pistons
- Eagle H Beams Rods
- ACL Bearings
- Everything else needed

the head as also been raceported with the standard valve size .

Im currently running a 35R with the .82 housing on 24PSI . Its currently making 310kw atw but i want more !!! I want to push it to 28psi on 98 RON (remember its Australia and im not sure what our 98 compares to your fuel). I want around 350kw atw for a daily driver on a 2L engine .

My question is, if i put meth injection in, how much boost and timing can i run ?? I think we are running 11 or so atm and 24psi but how much can i push it ??

I DO NOT WANT THE ENGINE TO GO BANG, AS I DONT WANT TO BE REBUILDING IN THE NEXT 3 YEARS OR SO !!! Any Information from ppl who have done this or are doing this would be much appreciated !!

come on !! surely some of you boys have meth injection on a 35R ??? :s .

im wondering what the increased torque and boost in with pump gas (98) and meth .

Really depends on the tune/tuner. I'd say you can run as much boost/timing as you feel safe with. At LEAST 30-32psi should be enough to make your goals. I don't know kw, but over 500whp should be easy.

 

Well I don't have a 35r but I have an FP RED, and the meth will allow you to put extremely high an high amount of boost. It's pretty much the same thing anyway. Get the meth, it's worth it.

also im still running the stock ecu so what would you recommend with that setup ??

i thin 32psi will easily allow my goal to be completely overtaken so thats a good thing !! Just need to know how to set it up and go nuts !! lol

 

Leave the stock ecu its good, unless your gonna run extremely high boost then you switch with an AEM ecu.
