oily residue in BOV and intake tube

I just installed a Greddy Type-S BOV last week and I put in an RMR intake yesterday. Today I took the BOV off and I noticed an oily residue in it... I stuck my finger in the tube going down (to the intake) and the inside was covered in oil. The oil was only present in the tube going down, not the tube going back towards the firewall.

Is this normal?

Yes, see that line comming from your Head to the intake? You are returning oil that is fcrothed around by your cams back into your intake.

Get an oil catch can. Perrin, Cusco, Greddy etc all sell them for our EVOs. Supposed to help out with that issue.
