Way to go Boost Solutions. Can't wait to see how powerful your Evo will be. I think this is the biggest project for a Evo so far that I have seen. I love that turbo, but a bit to much for my taste.

I may be wrong, however, why did you get the non-ball bearing version of the SPL? That would only hurt spooling on the small displacement Evo enginge...
This is the same turbo I put on my Skyline, whereas the BB spools much faster....

what ingorance!....I suggest you do some major research before posting, you only make yourself and your business look stupid. First off....Tomei makes ONLY 2.2 litre stroker kits, only Bozz Speed and this one other tuner (cant remember the name) makes 2.3 strokers. And Tomei doesnt make crap...They build Nismo JGTC cars, and in recent years they have been taking the championship. Their parts are one of the best available and they have a full machine shop capable of doing in-house engine rebuilds. No doubt JUN is good at what they do, but Tomei is in no way "crap".
If boost solutions maxes out at 800hp crank, it doesnt have anything to do with the motor, but the fact that a 2.2 litre only produces that much CO2, probably not enough to fully maximize the turbo's potential.

maki,
for your benefit, here's tomei's web link..go read up.
http://www.tomei-p.co.jp/
For your information, my cousin with his apex silver evo is not considering any other brands for engine internals. He's still saving up for the full tomei built 2.2 litre 4G63 which costs around $12k.
