Quote: My Cobb is very quiet compared to others I have had and heard. Even on big cams it sounds very nice. I dont' have a cat, and the tone is very acceptable. At highway speeds it is hardly noticable. It does open up at WOT though.

I recommend header wraping the down pipe and the mid pipe out to the resonator. Not only will it keep the heat in the exhaust, but it helps the noise as well.
It's a damn shame you can't find them anywhere anymore. After I decided that's what I wanted, I went out looking and came up with bupkis.

You can still find them out there. Check out the Evo Vendor Sales. I'm about to install my Cobb TBE this weekend...

Install a Bullet muffler where the cat goes. My buddy has 2 Bullets in his exhaust and a stock 9 turbo and his car is a dream to drive from a sound standpoint.

I have a Turbo XS tbe & dp no cat, I've been thinking of toning the sound down...especially at Cold start up....

Should I change my canister to a Magnaflow or put a Magnaflow in place of the cat?
Any suggestions?

Does anyone know if Thermal Exhaust make tbe for our cars? I had one in my Integra.
