Need Help!!!

Finally got my car fix. We replaced the motor and added bushur racing stage 3 heads. We did a test drive and for some reason, 750rm-2100rpm runs very smooth, it cuts out at 2200rpm. it run like $#it between 2500rpm - 3500rpm. Now if I go 4000rpm+, it runs like it suppose to and very strong at that too. The car has a CEL, and we pulled it and it shows both cams sensors and a crank sensor. Maybe I just need to drive it a bit more for it to come off? We had a MAF Sensor up to but after we drove around for awhile, that one came off for some reason.

Here is more info before we finished the car. Car has been down for about 3months. Battery been dead for about a few months, not sure how long.

Does it have to do with my methanol injection system that has to be on??? My car is tune for meth, and I currently have that system turned off, cause I just got my car back and have yet to get home to fill it yet. Or possibly, can it be that my ecu is missing a portion of the map??? Or maybe something simpler. Any help would be appreciated.

im not so sure about your problem but im pretty sure if the car was tuned for meth and your meth system is not active that is most likley part of the problem. I would def get that tank filled and start over with the tune.

especially with the addition of new parts.

When I get home, im gonna try to add meth in it and test it again.

I just did a test earlier sitting idling and hold my rpm at 2500rpm. it then drops then go back up then drops again repeatedly. but if i hold it above about 3500+rpm and it holds no problem. it only does this around 2500rpm to 3000rpm. about 3500rpm runs a little rough, but 4000+rpm is smooth.

Im assuming its a vacuum problem possibly. I checked the line and everything seems to be fine. I do hear the EGR valve or something. Is that normal???
