HELP! My evo has been hell no injection pulse
The day my Evo was tuned crank sensor went bad and it was changed. It ran fine for about two weeks(I never really drove it in the weeks because clutch went bad the next day SD doesnt like 30 PSI of C16)
Drove the car around for two weeks. All of the sudden car would sputter and misfire at around 3000 RPM. Eventually the cylinder died off. The injector doesnt get any pulse. I think its my #2 injectors I even ordered brand new PTE 1200. Took off the AEM EMS and connected to the stock maf. With the AEM EMS it wouldnt even start since the car was left off for about 3-4 months that I went to the USA. Well now I am back and I want my car running its frustrating. I use to have two Evo so I was kind of ignoring my Evo 4 for a while.
The harness was checked and coilpack we tried different ones. The resister box was checked. My mecanic who has good experience has spent more than 14 hours checking the car out. A tuner told me its the crankshaft and cam angle sensor that has gone bad. Ive had my cam angle sensor go bad two times and the car doesnt start period. I had my crank sensor go bad but when it was on AEM EMS and the car didnt start too. The engine has been opened up everything looked good. Changed valves and hg when it was opened up.
Very frustrated got my car tuned in FEB spent 850 bucks tuning it and havent it enjoyed it all. I never even drove it on the PTE 6235 set up to its full potential.
