How do i replace this hose ._.?

Ill make this short. A month ago i removed the cam gear protector thing idk what you call it. Was a ***** to remove so i never put it back, i meant to zip tie the hose away from the belt but i just forgot. Well today it hit the gears and made a little hole which lead to power steering fluid everywhere. For now im going to put some duck tape over it and i have already zip tied the hose away so it cant touch the gear/belt. The question is how do i replace it? One end goes to the pump but the hose isent clamped on, its like shoved inside the inlet/outlet.

might want to start by cleaning off all the power steering fluid off the cam gears if you haven't already. Who knows, it might cause them to skip a tooth.

oh man, my buddy did the same thing... That line is an absolute pain to replace... u gotta reach all the way behind the motor where it connects to the steering rack... Goodluck tho, some things are easy for others. Duck tape is not gonna help... lots of psi in the line

Your pic is horrible, you cant make anything out and its too small. That hose is the P/S preasure line. You cant just replace the rubber hose you need a new line.

also...no cam gear cover, why would you risk it? if a rock or something gets up in there, or if the hose had got lodged...say hello to rebuild time

I would probably change the belt asap too. not sure but I would think the PS fluid is not good for it.

The reason i dident put it back on was because i was so mad it took me a hour to remove it. Rusted bolts and the one stupid bolt in the back of the engine was enough. Guess ill put it back on tomorrow, but that one bolt that goes in the back isent going back in.

Judging by your posts, you are not mechanically inclined. Take it to a shop and have them replace that line and the timing belt since you got fluid all over it.

There is no way you are going to "plug" that hole. That line carries alot of psi from the pump.

I would replace that timing belt before you skip a tooth and then need the valves replaced or worse a new engine. That PS hose has 2 ends. What's so hard? If you are not sure get the new hose and look at the ends. It should be a big clue how to remove it. Duct tape will just make it spray in a different direction

Absolutely have that timing belt replaced. Fluids are not good for those belts and can break them down.

22mm banjo bolt on left of lower steering shaft and and a 10mm bolt attaches the line to the top or the rack isolator bushing tie down bracket. If your not inclined to diy just bite the bullet and pay. Labor and parts will be expensive...don't forget the balance shaft belt. Ps fluid is bad $*** wiping is down is useless. Glwt and invest in a fire extinguisher incase it flares up.
