Anyone replaced just the muffler?

I'm interested to see if anyone has hacked out the muffler and swapped in something else? I hear the muffler is the most restrictive part of the stock exhaust, so would a good flwoing 2 1/2 muffler help any? It is a whole lot chepaer then buying an entire exhaust...

I got the Buschur 2.5" Muffler delete pipe. Still very quiet and you don't have to hack anything, because it bolts right up. Really nice part with great gains, only $160. There's a write up in it in the review section forum with pics if you are interested.

It's hard to see the dotted lines, but they are with the stock muffler in place. Solid are with my axle back, which is the same concept as the buschur and the works exhale (I think thats the one) but it has a magnaflow double wall tip and is pried between the two, 190 shipped.. as soon as they are ready.
