I have a 2003 gsr and my 5th gear and reverse do not engage. when im on the road and try to put it into 5th gear it doesnt go in and goes into 3rd gear instead. Reverse is the same way if i try to put it into reverse itll go into 4th instead. PLEASE shed some light on my situation, I have talked to several mechanics and some say it may be something as simple as a shift fork or syncro. all my gears 1st the 4th work PERFECT but 5th gear and Reverse do not go into gear. ive checked my shift linkage and everything is good and this just recently happend this week 5th gear and reverse worked perfectly before
