DC Sports vs. Buscher Ported Ex Manifold

does any one have any opinions or numbers supporting which one is better. I can get a good deal on the dc sports manifold but going with a buscher is also cheap. i cant find much information on the dc sports at all but i can see the buscher is loved by everyone who has it. it will be going on a stock 8 for now and it will later be used on an fp red.

DC will significantly slow your spool and lose power in the upper RPM's and has a much higher chance for cracking. Getting a ported/coated cast manifold is the way to go for a daily driver. Search around, this has been covered hundreds of times.

I didn't even know DC made a manifold for our car. You already had the answer in your question. Buschur is liked by all who use it. Stick with what is proven to work. The black coating done by AWD Motorsports looks awesome too.

DC sports is garbage IMO, i ran one for 2 days, i lost 30 ft lbs of trq down low and only gained 6hp by redline.

I switched to a Buschur ported mani, and never looked back, yea a tubular looks awsome, but the Buschur is amazing for power, loved every second of mine.

Thank you for all your support guys.

I guess there isnt much to say from me. Our manifold is proven time & time again and the customers voice their opinions.

Let me know if you need anything though or have any questions.

I think in general Jrod a ported stocker is better then DC Sports Mani.....I didn;t even think they still even made them anymore. I think I only know one person who had great results with that mani

Where can I get the Buschur ported manifold from and how much? Is it only available through an exchange process for my stock one??

And can you get a black coating instead of that silver coating?

Thanks for the help

Any of the ported manifolds, forget about DC,...some companies do better then others...I personally like the black coating on manifolds...some companies that sell the ported manifolds would be Buschur, PPI, MAP, etc...

Which would be the best to go with for the ported exhaust/intake manifolds/throttle body??

And which coating is the best to use? I'm after either a black coating (like a magnesium look) or just plain silver so it looks like stock again. Not too keen on that chrome coating Buschur offers..

Are there any threads on different coating options/looks?
