clutch restrictor pill removal... speed bleeder?

I've had it with the restrictor pill, non-predictable engagement, ****ty feel on fast shifts, etc...

I'm looking to make this a quick and easy job, I've seen people replace the bleeder valve with a speedbleeder in some tutorial on here but no part number/specs on what to order.

Anyone shed any light to this?

appreciate it!

the speedbleeder just replaces the stock bleeder screw. you unscrew completely and install the speedbleeder. Personally I power bleed my brakes/clutch, its easy with one person and no need for speedbleeders.
Just get a motive powerbleeder and no need for speedbleeders.

I'd prefer to do it myself with the speedbleeder, just seems super easy and fool proof. Any specific ones to buy?

I installed a speedbleeder, it is worth the $5 investment in spades.

Yes, removing the pill is one of the best mods i have done to my car.

Agree. Much more predictable engagement and no slippage.

and is there a specific speed bleeder to purchase, I dont want to deal with the wrong size/thread pitch and whatnot.

I've about had it with the terrible feeling clutch on this car, daily driving thru Boston's terrible traffic day to day with a clutch thats engagement is anyones best guess and the annoying slipping-feel on quick low rpm shifts is driving me to despise the car! as sad as it sounds... this needs to be remedy'd

^^Check out this link. The part number for the speed bleeders are listed somewhere in there. I think #14. http://evomoto.com/tech_info.php?tPa...34690daddf6c7f

i don't think the part number listed on evomoto is valid anymore. You would have to find the pitch and thread but autozone guys found it for us.

Autozone link w/ search for part # 12709 http://www.autozone.com/autozone/cat...archText=12709 The thread and pitch is M10-1.0 x 35mm. I bought these about 7 months ago when I replaced my clutch and rebuilt the slave cylinder.
