BBK Lite Turbo
I think it was supposedly just the original green... lol.
I had both the Lite and Full on my IX before I got rid of it. The lite hits a little earlier and harder than the stock IX turbo, but falls of a bit above 7k. The punch of it is rediculous. The Full hits almost as hard, but a little later than the lite.. it spools very similar to the stock IX turbo. It pulls so much harder after 5k and up to the redline, it's rediculous. The Full is the way to go in my opinion.

i havent personally experienced a bbk full but my red spools right around 3800-4000 and pulls like crazy until redline....i love CBRD and i know that turbo must be sick but i think the red only spools like 200-400 rpms later. if you are sticking to pump gas the bbk full is definitely a good choice but if you start of with the red on pump gas then get power hungry, you can add meth and that turbo will make a sh*t load of power.
I recently tuned a customers bbk lite build on pump gas and e85. It's an Evo 8 with kelford 272's and cam gears. Stock I/C and piping, full TBE and 3"intake to MAF. Made right at 400whp on pumpgas and we pushed out 470wtq and 470whp on e85. For this car with these particular mods this is all she has left which is damn impressive for a daily driver. These numbers were on a dynojet 424x awd dyno.
Have a bbk full Evo 9 here that I will be tuning this weekend on pump and e85 also, should be a nice comparison.

I seriously doubt your claims. A turbo that flows 57lbs/min and is not even ball bearing and spooling only 200-400rpm later than stock turbo? I doubt it. Is not like I am guessing, I have had 18 turbo cars, I upgraded gazillion turbos on my previous/current cars and I am inclined to say that going from a stock size turbo to a Red the spool up suffers more than that. Just my .2c, not hating or arguing.
Carlos
get the new green, hits full spool at 3000k with my setup and holds all the way to the top end, I made 390 (93 octane) on a mustang dyno with a conservative tune last week and we had beat the crap out of it before that pull. Its in getting the E85 gauge and dual map setup as we speak, it will be back tomorrow, PM me and I will send you the sheet as soon as I get it. This was my DD so quick spool up was essential, and this turbo fit that perfectly.
