What brand do most of us evo members use for springs and retainers? Are retainers necesaary for a stage 2 cam like the Cossie or gsc s2's? I see different brands with prices; as well as single and double springs? Whats the difference and how about brands like the Crower, Manley, Supertech, GSC etc.

 

Most people like the beehive type spring. FP, GSC, etc all make nice ones. Not all springs require upgraded retainers.

 

Why not? Isn't it necessary to upgrade the retainers?
