Can someone list the

PROS & CONS

of having a

AMS 3" Turn down
http://www.amsperformance.com/cart/A...mance.com.html

instead of a full CAT back exhaust?

This is for a DD/AutoX/Track car, I DO NOT MIND THE NOISE btw

I drive around open down pipe in the summer and winter i put the exhaust back on only thing sucks is you smell like a gas ball from the fumes coming inside but the sound of the turbo spool is enough to make me forget that somebody could light a match and catch me on fire.

Pro's-
You Lose all restriction from the exhaust system
You Lose all weight from the exhaust system

Con's-
Very Loud, not streetable by most standards
Dumps exhaust right under the car, could become an issue over extended amounts of time

I have 3" straight pipe all the way out the back just like a regular exhaust. It's very loud and a bit higher pitched then I thought it should have sounded like. I'll get a video clip of mine tomorrow for you.

Here in Miami, there are soo many SRT4s with only downpipe and hondas and what not, it'd fit right in lol

Yep that's how they sound

Click on some of the related vids with the straight pipes and that's how mine sounds but you can hear the turbo a bit more in mine for some reason.
