First off I wouldn't take the time to make a thread if I thought this was just random EVO noises. This is not your typical Decel, Rattle, Squeak ETC.

Recently I've been getting what sounds like a metal reverb noise in high rpms. Specifically when I pass 4K or wind up the 2 step. I let off the gas and it sounds like a rotational noise, but its metal and noisy as hell. It has progressively become louder over the past few months.

I don't have any loose heat shields, I removed the stupid metal brace in the middle of the front cross member that's held on with plastic clips. I cannot for the life of me find anything loose / rubbing.

Which leads me to believe its internal either T-case or tranny. The clutch was done at 55K miles, and all the fluids are fresh, Diaqueen in the T-case and Redline in the Tranny.

Thoughts ? Suggestions ? Light the car on fire ?
