Difference in Timing belts 8 vs 9

So i bought a gates timing belt, i know the motors on these cars didn't change much, but that there are subtle differences in the parts from 8's-9's. For example the water pump on the nine seems to be more expensive and different because of the relocation of a bolt on the housing, with this is mind I looked up the timing belt.

The belt I bought was a gates t167 timing belt and t168 balance shaft belt.
-The year listed under this belt is 2003-2005.
- So i think to myself, are the oem belts different?
-I came up with no pns but different prices for a belt for an 06 evo vs that of an 04 evo.

anyone who can shed some light on why there is a 5 dollar difference?

p.s. i never install anything on my car till im sure it'll fit oem or better.

Yeah they are all the same. I would use an OEM or kevlar belt personally. Good luck.
