Hey guys, my 5 speed stock tranny from my 03 evo 8 went to ****. I am wanting to replace it with a 6 speed tranny from an mr. Am i talking crazy or is it possible? If it is possible what else do i need to replace in order for this to work? Thanks

 

It is possible, but most people go from a 6spd to a 5spd.

 

you nee the 6 speed tranny mount, 6 speed shifter cables, and shifter box. Also have the change the wiring on the tranny from your 5 speed to the 6 speed, since the 5 speed has a different speedo pick up then the 6 speed. Think that's it, if i can think of anything else i let you know.
