Turboxs BOV seized

Yesterday while driving my car wouldn't boost until around 4500rpm, then it would boost to 20, (like hitting nitrous). After I parked it for a while then drove it again it would only build to about 9psi at redline.
Since the last thing I installed was the Turboxs BOV, I pulled it off.
When I looked inside the piston was stuck fully open. I had to push it out with the handle of a screwdriver.
The piston had one big gouge and a small one. Inside the housing was also gauged and a small peice of piston material was imbedded into the wall of the housing.
I dug the piece out, hand honed the housing with scotchbrite, sanded the piston, put it back together and eveything was fine.
Anybody else have any problems?

well with mine i notice like small scratches forming on the cylinder and it didn't really open and close smoothly. so i just sprayed some silicone lubricant on it and it moves perfect now.

This same thing happened to me today after only 400 miles of driving.

We had a batch of valves get out of our machine shop with improper clearances. If you purchased your valve from us (TurboXS) or from an authorized dealer of ours, we'll gladly replace it.

I just had the turboxs recirc valve installed and a day later i can only make 4 pounds of boost. I havn't figured out the problem yet but im going to check the bov tmrw. It has to be that or the wastegate, although the wastegate looks fine visually.
