Please correct me if I'm wrong, but is that the HKS Legamax exhaust?

if so, its just a muffler replacement that's made to bolt up to the stock mid-pipe. Thats why it has the OEM looking 2-bolt flange on it and thats EXACTLY why it is the diameter it is. The ETS unit on the other hand looks like its made to go with an aftermarket midpipe with a v-band... of course thats going to be larger diameter.

if that is the case then I'd say well done with your apples to oranges comparison.

Yes, but they are the same price and ours include a center pipe. Thanks for pointing that out. I forgot to mention that. We posted this thread to show the differences between the two systems. I should have included our mid pipe in the comparison vs the stock one.

Thanks,

Michael

so what is the difference between your pipe and the UR pipe?

I think most ppl that would go for HKS are because they want the JDM effect, and/or the deep (but not loud) tone they produce. Out of some many exhausts i have read about, HKS Legamax has one of the weakest piping (diameter wise), Hi power has better diameters though.

so the fancy (JDM name brands), has good name, poor for performance/weld. The true 3 inch ones have no fancy name (domestic, US/Can) but are too loud for some and by that, draw too much unwanted attention from cops.
