HELP REMOVING HEAD FROM BLOCK please !!

well i am trying to get the head off my block, have the valve cover off and the cams out, what do i need to get the head studs out, and how in the world do you release the springs really kind stuck here any help would be awesome thanks

wait why r u even taken the springs out?? u dont even have to do that. all u do is unbolt all the intake mani bolts. there a black braket underneath the intake mani belive there is two bolts to that. then all u do is unbolt the bolts to ur head studs. and pull it up. u dont have to take ur springs out they can stay in there.. i even keep my cams in when i did mine.

yah no need to remove the springs. You shoudl be able to pull it straight up make sure its straight and not cocked to any one side....

and the headbolts r 12 point socket. forget the size like a 12m or sumthing

correct, just do as mentioned above, dont remove the cams or springs...your gonna cause yourself more work in the end if your not going to end up replacing those components...
