megan racing 3" turbo back or ?
So you didn't have any issues with connections. I have the cat back and test pipe connected to the stock down pipe. Any recommendations getting rid of the "service engine soon"? The hangers don't seem to go on properly. I was going to run the cat back first but the catback doesn't fit properly into the stock cat. So I ended up using the testpipe too.
1) Buy a set of 18mm Spark Plug Anti Foul Adaptors from the autoparts store. I got my from Advanced Auto or Autozone and it came in a pair in the little red "Help" packages. These things are designed for cars that are burning oil and fouling it's plugs.
2) Drill out the small hole of one of the plugs to 1/2" diameter. This will allow the O2 sensor to screw into the plug while a tiny bit of room surrounding the sensor.
3) Screw either 1 or both adaptors together into the 2nd O2 bug on the cat back. Carefully screw the O2 sensor in. Don't overtighten since the adaptors are now pretty thin walled due to the 1/2" drilling.
4) Reset ECU by pulling off the positive terminal on the battery, press the brake pedal in to help drain all power and reconnect after 30 secs.
There is also a perrin CEL eliminators that you can buy also.
As far a connection issues, I never had any but thats prolly because I had the whole exhaust system and not just the catback.
Hope this helps.

Interesting post regarding Megan fit and quality. I had nothing but problems with my DP clearing the transfer case and oil pan. I believe they have since updated the DP so that it does not have the flex tube and it may work better.
As far as sound, I really don't like the 3" TBEs (pretty much all of them)...Most are pretty loud and have a bad drone at ~3500 rpm (cruising on the highway)....
Price wise they are an OK deal. Frankly, I would stick with the stock TBE and replace the cat with a hiflow cat for power under 500whp and go with a Buschur for setups greater than 500whp.

i have megan CATBACK and it's too loud. I can't hear on the phone and I wake up neighbors (but who cares about neighbors lol j/k). I'm currently looking for something quieter. Also it drones in 5th gear, very annoying.
Also it rattles a bit when you drive.. Unless theres a bad bolt or hanger..

The anti-fouler I got from the person who sold me the exhaust works about 80% of the time. Sometimes the "service engine soon" turns on but it turns off later. I think i just need to clean the anti-fouler.
Sorry to bring bump this back up but I didn't want to start a new thread. I now have a the megan dp (clears the acd, no flex connections) but it rattles once in awhile. When I installed it the clearance to one of the lower bars was very very small. Did anyone else have this issue with the dp?
