Put one of these steups in a 66 Chevelle and quiet would not be how I describe it... It makes a good bit of noise.

I figured, any pump that puts out that much fuel will probabaly make some more noise...I'll see how it works out on the EVO.

No update yet, I've been busy lately.

How the hell are you going to get that to work in an evo? the split oe tank will cause problems and there is no room under the oe tank for that huge peice to get welded on...

The sump does not hang below the tank, much of it is inside or removed. A crossover will be needed.

Crossover under the propshaft?

It´s a nice peice but imo you´re only making things complicated.

Why not Weldon and never worry about pump failures?

I agree, this requires more work than a simple double pumper or other solutions. However, my goal is to have plenty of fuel capacity since I'll be running E85 and may need a larger capacity down the road. The Weldon pumps work well, but I wanted a submersible pump that can be integrated into the tank to reduce noise and eliminate other issues related to external plumbing. The Aeromotive pumps are really nice and this system offers everything I wanted. I'm using their new pump speed controller that pulses the pump (not change voltage) so the pump isn't stressed as much/often. The combination of this pump system and the Injector Dynamics ID2000 injectors, I'll have 1000hp+ of fuel on tap and good drivability!

I'm looking to do some sort of internal crossover, if that doesn't work I have a plan B.

Is this going to be used to sump the oem tank(s) like the foxbody in the pic???

Will there be any space issues under there since the tank(s) sit futher forward on our cars?

I'm sure you had your reasons to not go w/ a cell of some sort.........

Looks beefy!

Interested to see how it all turns out.

Oops a little late you already answered my ? LOL.

Best of luck at least the location of the pump makes things easy to remove for service etc.!
