Thumbs up New fuel system, Aeromotive/Injector Dynamics *PICS*

I picked up the Aeromotive Stealth fuel system recently. It's basically a fuel tank sump with the filter and high flow pump integrated into it. Very cool piece. They offer the system with the A1000 pump or the Eliminator pump (good for around 1400hp on gas). Since I'll be running E85, I chose the Eliminator pump. I haven't had my car on the lift yet to determine the sump placement, but I figure I'll place it on the rear of the tank and run a separate line to allow fuel to crossover from the opposite sump.

More info here: http://www.aeromotiveinc.com/products.php?prod=267

Here are a few pics...

The sump

I made a template to help fit the sump. I'll eventually cut away was isn't necessary.

The pump and filter assemply. The pump housing is on the left, the filter/fuel pickup is on the right. This sits at the bottom of the sump.

Pump/filter assembly in the sump

The Eliminator pump slides into the housing.

The pump housing is submerged in fuel, but also has a shield inside to reduce noise. I'm eager to see how quiet a 1300hp fuel pump can be.

Regulator, fuel rail, Injector Dynamics ID2000 injectors

This is what the sump looks like installed in a fox body Mustang

I'm in Orange. No, I don't work at or own a performance shop...only my own projects.

How high does that regulator allow you to set base pressure? 60 PSI, right? The injectors have the potential for much higher base fuel pressure...

I went to a Weldon because the Aeromotive I had was limited to a max of 70PSI... Weldon goes to 200...

Base pressure can be adjusted from 30 - 60 psi with this regulator.

The stealth fuel system ranges from $1100-$1300 depending on the pump you choose. It's actually a good price considering the filter, pump and sump are all in one package and supports 1400hp. I'm hoping the system is quiet, I'll post a video when it's done.

Sure do. You're looking for the ID1000's from T1 Race Development. Tony from T1 is a member on this forum.

I'm definitely subscribed to this thread. In the other thread i started, that you posted in, i ended up abandoning the idea i wanted to do originally. I ran into issues getting fuel from the other side of the tank. So had to do something else. Good luck man.
