Can this be done evo 8 with mivec

okay so say you where wanting to take an evo 9 engine and drive train and put it in an 8, i am assuming the only thing you would need to change would be the ECU, maybe the wiring harness, can some one tell me if this is correct, or if there is more involved

yeah iam sure it can be done i have a evo 9 block with a evo 8 head but i just saw another member on here with a full swap

Since all IX's came with ACD, you would have to switch out the dash/tach too and if it's an 03, you would have to replace the fog light button with the ACD one. Of course, wiring harnesses and ECU would have to be switched too.

I personally wouldn't bother with a full IX swap in an VIII (if that is the VIII is running just fine) and would just buy some nice 272 cams or do a MIVEC swap.

IT CAN BE DOEN EASY! yOU DEFENETELY NEED WIRING HARNESS. i HAVE THE PARTS TO DO IT
