Now that is funny... kind of an inside joke I guess...

Looks great David... just one question... why not a OEM style boss for the MAP sensor welded into the plenum... I know you run AEM on the BAD BISH, but this would be a nice option for us stock ECU guys...

fast freddie, I considered that but with the advancement of the stock ECU I figured someone could run the AEM sensor instead so we didn't bother with a MAP sensor bung. I could however have bungs made to do it if I had to.

I want to make sure I am also real clear on something else on the intake. In our testing of all the intake manifolds I did I feel if you have under 500-500 whp putting any aftermarket intake on your car is PROBABLY going to be a waste of money. The stock ported intake has such an exceptional curve under 5500 rpm and then gains over that RPM (compared to a stock intake that is not ported) that you are better off running the stock ported unit at those power levels. I just don't want someone with a mild set up ordering one of these and being disapointed. With that said, I have done NO testing under 500 whp with this intake, hell it may surprise me.

It's like the stock exhaust, bolt a turbo back exhaust on an otherwise stock car and you will gain 25 whp. Try to make 600 whp through the stock exhaust and then bolt on a 3" turbo back and you'd probably gain 200 whp.

Well for marketing sake since a lot of people are running the JDM 3bar & Omni 4 bar for speed density cars, it may be a wise decision to add the boss as a weld in option when purchasing.

The only reason I even mention it is because 2 close friends as of late were "dismayed" by not having this option on another popular intake manifold... good thing one of them has a tig so it was a quick fix

I don't know how I missed your last comment, sorry. We can add a fitting for the stock MAP sensor if it's needed. I won't be doing EGR provisions though, map sensor only. The stock MAP sensor can be done on request.

We may be offering the intake with -4 AN ports welded to it instead of nipples too. This will allow you to use AN to push lock hose fittings on the end of all the vacuum lines, perfect seal and no more zipties/clamps to hold the hose on. On top of that, easy to remove and re-install.

Working on parts being machined to make it reality.

Thanks for the response David... The EGR stuff is no biggie, but I know people that are interested are going to ask about the MAP sensor provision...

I scaned the thread fairly quick and I saw no mention of optional throttle body flanges. Will this option for lets say Boomba, BBK (4.6, and 5.0), etc in the near future?

I have a AMS VSR currently and I also don't like all of the ports near the firewall. It makes for a hard time checking for leaks.

No plans for throttle body options other than stock. I see no sense in it, we did the testing, my car is running 9.0's at 159 on the 65mm modified stock throttle body and it has an IAC that works correctly.
