Clutch ended up being worn more than i thought

bump... the car when i bought it was stock also so no telling what was done to it.. just wanted to get an idea what someone thought it might be worth

I would say $800 if the disc's still have plenty of meat.

One of the floater plates cracked. so it was wedged in the housing. one of the discs is wore pretty good because it never really disengaged all the way. in an effort to to make it shift at all the adjustment on the pedal was such that hydrolics were applying pressure all the time to the diaphram.. so the diaphram is quite worn. this also wore deep grooves in the throw out bearing pads and ruined the TOB arm. I checked on a price for the broken floater and that was 250 just for that the TOB is another 150. one disc may need to be replaced or resurfaced. they are 600 each. It needs at minimum new floater, TOB, diaphram and some resurfacing work. my guess is 600-1100 to rebuild it.
