Seeking a Clutch.. Help

Hey All.

Im currently rebuilding my car into a 2.3L stroker with a Trust T67 turbocharger, and Im looking for a clutch to get the power to the ground.

I have been looking around, but It seems to be between two clutches;

-ORC 559 Twin Plate
-Exedy Hyper Twin Plate

The exedy is ALOT cheaper, but my mechanic isnt keen on it. He doesnt think it will last as long as the ORC, or handle the power as well.

I cant really get a SPEC or ACT clutch as they are not available here, and it would be a nightmare to rebuild...

HELPS ME!

Regards,
Alex

The Exedy HD (MM022HD) has a 535 ft-lb torque capacity. The T67 probably doesn't spool fast enough to create that much torque, but I'm not sure.

If you do get the Exedy, make sure you get something (either extra springs or a clutch fork stopper) to prevent it from popping the retainer clip out.

I can get full boost in by 4,000rpm with the T67.. So dunno.

Im seriously thinking about the Exedy, as it is soooo much cheaper!

Is there any other clutch I should look at?
