im thinking of getting a 50mm tial bov but my friend told me its not a recirculating bov, it will shoot in the atmosphere which is bad for the car. I just wanna confirm if its truth? if so how do i solve that problem if i get one?

 

the best routes for the 8 I beleive are to go speed density or use a maft. though the evo 9 does compensate quite well (I run a blitz valve to atmosphere).

You cannot run a TiAL vented unless you are running some form of engine management or speed density.

If you want the sound, get an APS Twin Vent, it holds boost very well and gives you the sound.

 

APS is the only answer for you. Tial is for speed or EMS only. Yes people have them on their evos but i woulnt recommend. AFR will get messy a little, between shifts, shorten your spark plug life, and sometimes CE light... I woulnt recommend to run VTA with stock MAF.

 

Tial also has a newer recirculating valve if you are stuck on buying a Tial. If you want to vent to the atmosphere, then you'll have to convert to speed density as mentioned above.

If you decide to stick with a recirculating BOV, I would recommend the Synapse BOV.

How much do you guys sell just the bottom casting for? This will work wonders on the DSMs and EVO's

looks awesome.... I have not seen that yet. You guys have all kinds of good stuff coming out recently. a V band gate thats not huge and now a recirc BOV that isnt the size of the average office trash can lol. TIAL FTW

 

run tial 50 mm without issues just add hks eids kit known as electronic idle kit it will vent ur bov while giving ur maf and ecu ur readings.............
