HTA35r or FP Red?

Ive been looking at turbo setups for my evo 9. So far ive seen very good numbers from both of these turbos. I was wondering where in the rpm band does each turbo reach full boost and when they start to fall off. Also what the efficiency of each turbo is? My goal is 500 on pump to 600 whp on race gas

If those are your goals 35r is your answer.

lol all these red vs 35r or red vs bbk full or red vs 37r getting alittle crazy there is tons i mean tons of information on fp red setups theres like a new thread everyday with cars running them not to mention the 35r is a known preformer not that hard to find your answers. when does it hit full boost depends on your mods list really and you should know that. I cant wait till MORTAL KOMBAT STARTS

FP BLACK VS 35r

which ones better?

LOL i knw there are a lot ive been looking up this topic for a long time. im trying to get reviews that people have that are running them. Im going to build the head so it can handle that power and get work done on my tranny as well. I just heard that the hts35r's have a really wuick spool and i want to knw the comparison of tht to an fp red and the efficiency range of each turbo

Here you go. Your not going to find too many people with back to back testing. Most people pick a set up and stay on it for awhile. This was done on the same car, same engine, same dyno. The 468whp/492 wtq was a stock turbo for comparison.

a stock frame turbo will HAVE BETTER SPOOL THEN A bigger turbo 35r and up. the 35r will have way higher top end i would say from what i have seen

fp red 400-637 this could include full bolt on c16 race gas meth injection built block
35r 450-805 this includes meth injection c16 race gas built block.

there are your ranges. building the head is nice for sure but you need to worry more about your shortblock running a 2.3 shortblock will help your spool out on either turbo a TON. some say fp red full bolt on + 2.3 street demon nuff said. you need to be realist in your goals more power means more problems and HIGHER chance of stuff breaking can you afford to put this all together buy parts and have a blown tc and tranny can you afford to put 4000 down for a triple clutch another 4000 for 35r kit. these are things you need to ask yourself the price of how much its going to cost to get there. power is nice but you may be extremely happy with 450 whp and not cost you a year of saving up. just some things to think about other then i want 600 lets do it.

The FP Pink has already done stupid power in testing. Think 35R HTA in stock housings that bolts on.

Thankx for all the information u have opened my eyes a little more on the topic. I think 500 whp will b good for a while i just want to have more room if i feel like i want more power later on down the road.

{I am going for the red soon, I saw scott at TTP make 460 something on his mustang dyno, that should be 500 on a dynojet. Pretty impressive, I will be going with the red and having scott tune my car when it is ready
