Greedy Counter weight and ebay short shifter combo?

Hello,

Anyone using this combo? I'm looking for some first hand experience with this particular combo or perhaps any short shifter with the greedy knob.

Thanks in advance!

Have the Greddy knob, Work short shifter, and underhood bushings, love it. I personally wouldn't use any ebay garbage parts, especially on something like a shifter.

but a shifter is pretty much just a ground piece of metal ? how is that garbage if its from ebay or is it just because some vendor didnt mark the price up?

To each his own, in my opinion I just wouldn't use an ebay shifter. I've seen honda guys with ebay shifters break in half on the 1/4 mile from hard shifting. Oh by the way, that amber taillight tint fades like a ****!

I had the exact setup and it was nice. I've since switched knobs to the Skunk2 counterweight that is more egg shaped like the stock S2k knob.

The eBay shifter that I recommend for Evo guys is the exact same as the one sold by Fidanza, B&M, and others. They even come in the exact same plastic bag and shipping box. Its a very quality piece.

Thanks alot for the info! I was planning on buying the ebay shifter because I had read that it was a good piece just like kraka said. Also it costs like $30 and includes the shifter base bushings so I figured that I could buy it and if I didn't like it just use the shifter base bushings .

Do you have shifter base bushings too?

Hmmm... Nice? I was expecting something like "GREAT." Why did you change the greedy knob? Just because of the shape?

I didn't think that the E-bay short shifters fit the 6-speed tranny. Isn't WORKS the only one that makes a 6-speed short shifter?

Here is the eBay shifter I recommend. Anyone who tells you that its garbage is just a brand name ***** b/c I've installed this exact one in numerous Evo's with zero failures. Also, remember, this is the EXACT SAME shifter sold by Fidanza and B&M.
