Sparkplug cover with vents?

Does any one make a spark plug cover with vents?

Looking in to getting a COP - And I know heat kills coils.. simple.

So I want to cover the coils with something maybe polished or powder coated... I just cant seem to find any that are vented?

just curious if it were a product .. and i just cant find it!

Why not just no valve cover? max venting, max weight reduction. Seriously though, to me, if the cover is vented it's also sort of like not having one in the first place since now water and debris can more easily enter into the underside, much like not having one at all. You know what I mean? If style is a factor for you then that's another consideration, one that I simply don't worry about.

Yes. I meant spark plug cover

Our coils are warrantied for 2yrs and were designed to be covered up. We haven't seen 1 failure due to heat yet.

Actually our non-cdi system (over 1000 coils used thus far) we've only had one coil that was a doa. Of course it was replaced no questions asked.

Right. All well and good. And when your non-cdi COP is reasonably priced I would give it a second glance.

The COP could easily be reasonably priced.

Do you have any idea what coils they are actually using?

I am purchasing Spoolinup's cop as soon as the new revision is completed.

I want the cover because .. I want it.. and I buy what I want. Simple.

While the spoolin cop and the cover will be near the cost of the competitors cop.. I would still want the cover with theirs. Soo... common sense says.. Wait for Mat to finish the new COP.

Its my car - I have to drive it - I will build it how I see fit.

All cop's are superior to stock dual coils. They improve every aspect of driving.

This may never happen.

Likely - It is something similar to MR2 coils, or within the same family. Or so I have been told.
