Unhappy evo 8 idle

Hello. I just got my evo and so far I love the car. one thing though, I notice that at idle, I can hear the exhaust and it seems to hiccup. Not that big of a hiccup but it doesn't have the straight "hummmmm" sound. It's kinda....."hummmmmbrrrphummmmbrrrphummm". It this normal for the evo. thanks

Yes it's totally normal. sounds like it has a timing miss.

Thanks! I was looking at older threads and I noticed that somebody else had some close but he said his was a misfire and the changed his plugs and it went away. My evo has only 350 miles on it so I'm not sure it changing the plugs would work but then again the plugs might be defective from the factory.

thanks
