In the middle of rebuilding my gearbox. Haven't done one before so not entirely sure how much wear on any of the parts is acceptable or not.

Can anyone identify if any of the following bits need replaced? The box is going to be used for drag racing so will be heavily loaded for short periods of time. The box had 90,000k's on it when removed from the car.

I've made some comments before each picture.

The thrust face on this 1st speed gear has some scoring which can also be seen where it sits on the 1st speed gear sleeve in the following pictures.

Do they need replaced?

The inside of the 1st speed gear sleeve has a decent amount of wear such that it's easily felt with my finger nail. Does it need replaced?

This synchro cone has some really shiney patches on it. Does it need replaced?

The 1st to 2nd speed synchro hub has some minor wear marks on the teeth where it's been engaged.

This outer synchro ring has a lip on the teeth. It's not massive but definitely worn. Does it need replaced?

This inner synchro ring has some wear marks on the inside. Nothing too major, just polished in places.

This synchro sleeve has some minor wear on the teeth. Does it need replaced?

Bump. Surely there is someone here that knows about gearbox's???
