you will not get any CEL from hks downpipe or 30th anni. cat-back.

i want very badly to hear what that combo sounds like. i know the RMR turbo back (downpipe, stock CAT, cat back) sounds great but I'm curious how the HKS sounds.

jrock, I too really want to hear it also. I have heard a sound byte
somewhere on here from hks and it sounded really good, but it was on an evo VII and not sure of there mods.

JRock or Tracer,

I think you really need to hear it next to the car. Cannot judge based on the sound clips. If you around MA area, PM'ed me.

IMO, it's a bit loud with the combination (Personal preference). I will prefer more quiet combination if possible. My wife & kid does not like it at all. Especially doing a longer trip.

BTW, no CEL with the combination. Bolt-on with no fitting problem on HKS downpipe and catback.

I have the HKS 30th with stock DP and it sounds great I just can't wait to hear it with the HKS DP when I get it.

chinalfr, I had a 99 civic si with an hks hiper exhaust and it sounded great but was a bit too loud. If you have ever heard
a car like the si setup, how would you relate it to the evo w/hks setup you have?
