Rear Muffler

I have access to a 2.75" and a 3" inlet muffler, aftermkt brand at no cost.

Would changing the rear muffler alone to a free exhaust prove to be beneficial in terms of power granted everthing else except the cat is stock on the exhaust?

Thanks

If you had a hole in your muffler I could see the installing it. If you are looking for more power, you are better off with a cat back exhaust with larger diameter piping.
