Fluttering with IX BPV

I have been getting a lot of fluttering on my evo 8 with a 9 bpv.

I just installed Injen UICP and intake and an ETS LICP, and the amount of fluttering is a lot more than it was. Mainly this happens in say 5th-6th gear when I'm boosting and then let off the gas lightly.

What is the cause of flutter? Why am I having it a lot more now?

Thanks for your help!

the fluttering is during low boost.. think of it like your car fighting for either boost or vacuum...

Did you install backwards? Dose it sound like a duck? It's a easy mistake to make.

You might have the valve on backwards...Check and make sure it's on properly.

it is installed correctly. i know what the sound would make which would cause surge, but that is not the case here.

it is during low boost to where it is switching back to vacuum. the car is not jolting or anything, just got noticably louder fluttering and was curious as to what the cause could be.

Well my IX DV never fluttered, but it did leak, which is why I went with a Forge DV. Now I am trying to figure out how to setup (proper spring) the Forge so it won't flutter when holding ~10 psi (part throttle going up a hill).

i assume it's normal, drivability is good, just something i noticed. i'm sure the change was because the IX bpv is metal and now maybe the combination of the open filter and hard intercooler and intake pipes, the fluttering is just louder.
