Mivec Cam advancing at random at idle

Mivec Cam advancing at random at idle

Problem:

mivec cam on Evo 9 spiking to max advance timing occassionally at idle?

Any one with experience on how to solve this?

Please help..Thanks...

Do you have a log of this? I would assume the only thing that can do it is the feed solenoid going goofy unless a table got played with in the ROM. Odd but sorry cant say I have heard of that.

Cam angle

This is screenshot of the cam angle showing the angle spiking. The rpm is at idle.
Wondering if there is any reason for the cams to spike. Or is the cam signal being corrupted by interference.
