Lightbulb low boost issues

If you are currently having low boost issues and have tried tightening your hoses and seem not to get those 19 pounds of boost checking everything else. Check your spark plug gaps. Mine were as follows .023,.023,.023,.022. I double checked the normal gap in the manual .024-.027. So I gapped mine @ .025 for all 4. What I'm aware of is that spark plugs come pre-gapped, but I double check anyway. Now my main issues is resolved (bad gas milage), but I noticed that my car felt stronger. So I tried flooring her more than couple of times and noticed that from 1st - 5th gear my car boosted 1.3 pounds (apex boost gauge) all the way to redline. Hope this helps.

I wonder about a few of the simpler things that might be overlooked in the possible wide variance of stock hp measurements. Spark Plug gaps is a quick check. So is Tire Pressure. Checking all the lines are tight and without leaks. That should leave only break in procedures as a variable.
