#1) It's a mustang dyno... the car trapped 134mph... It's got over 600 on a DJ... easy.

#2) Pump gas dyno's will be out soon enough. I think Dave was right to compare the two turbo's running flat out.

#3) I don't think you'd have a whole lot of success keeping con-rods inside your block if you ran this turbo all out on a stock block.

Those are some pretty nice gains over the Red turbo. I'm interested to see how it does on a non built car. Good Test.

No the testing was not done on the same day, the dates are on the sheet.
If you have the time, could you be more specific?

It looks like the bottom line numbers for a best comparison are

RED - 494 whp / 507 ft/lbs
BLACK - 537 whp / 522 ft/lbs


Am I incorrect?

yea i know but still want want to see how it lays down on 93 oct. ill have a built head and 2.3 installed so thats good but i dont have the luxury of e85 here so a 93 oct test to make sure its still spooling great and putting down some numbers is in order but hey least you put a test out there thanks dave. just hard for me to pull the trigger as i want a good road racing/somewhat drag turbo with decent spool up.

Yes. Cars make more power in 4th gear on BR's dyno than they do in 3rd gear.

Then buy one and tune it on 93 octane. David said in the VERY FIRST POST this is the only testing he's done. He hasn't done any testing on 87, 91, 93, 94, 100 unleaded, C16, Q16, Methanol or f*cking space shuttle gas.

I think pushing this turbo on a stock block with all the bolt-ons might be a little too much like RTErnie said.

David, do you think running this turbo on a stock block safely will even be worth it? I think you will end up having to cut so much of the turbos potential it will end up being a waste.

Thanks for the info Dave, 40 psi is just gettin ridiculous.

Wonder if this will be the end of the FP turbo line for the Evo 8/9's for a while.

Stock block + HTA82 = carnage. Good luck to anyone willing to sacrafice their block for the experiment.

why dont you read my post before you start beating up your keyboard i said if you can read would be nice to have a 93 oct test but at least he did something. i read complete threads thanks for trying
