I have 540 WHP and 426tq evo and I what to know how well is this clutch, currently have a (act )at high rpm and can not shift( btw the twin disc is used but i have the ribuilt kit)

 

Hks = good clutch IMO

 

i know of two cars that have this clutch and both have fp red turbos and the clutch slips on both cars and is almost brand new. i would get a exedy hd twin they are about the same price.

Well, that is a generic answer. If I am running a dragster 3000hp/2000lb-tq engine and I put a 300lb -tq clutch then mostlikely the clutch will be toasted.

It would be beneficial to know what power/torque are your friends putting and what is the torque rating on that HKS clutch then we can talk.
