slave cylinder!?

i put in a new slave last week. and i bleed it properly it worked fine for a few days. but now when i get on the car it losses all pressure and stays to the floor and im stuck pumping it with my foot. or sometimes it will just lose pressure only go up half way. or itll catch really low. it does whatever it wants. when i try to bleed it again it takes like 5-10 times for it build pressure. i traced all the lines there doesnt appear to be a hole in any of them. where else should i check for a leak of some sort. or did i over look something in the install but it worked for the first few days perfectly.

Are you using a speedbleeder. If yes then that may be your problem. You might still have a leak or low fluid in the reservoir

Yup.
Then do five more just to make sure. Make sure your partner on the pedal or bleeder valve knows what they are doing too.

is that it though. we bleed it 3 times some air comes out then we go to do it the 4th time and were back at step 1 again its soo annoying. he holds the pedal all the way down i loosen the valve wait for it all to come out then tighten it and he pumps.

yea its not a fun process but it takes awhile. brakes, clutch, it all takes time and patience. just make sure you fill up properly after

Are you still seeing bubbles after you "believe" it's bled properly?

Process should be pump pump and hold clutch all the way down. Person in the car should announce loudly that they have the pedal to the floor. You open valve just enough to for built up pressure of fluid to drain through, 1/4 turn should be enough. Open and then close tight. Light person in car know it's ok to come off clutch pedal slowly( if necessary manually pull it up by hand slowly). Run this process up to 10 times if necessary to make certain all air in system is out.
*NOTES* Always check level of fluid in reservoir, keep it with a little more fluid than necessary to ensure no air is sucked back in. Also never aggressively pump the pedal. Always do slow and controlled pumps.

If it's still not holding pressure check slave cylinder first, then if necessary replace master cylinder. Slave is easy to do, master is a little harder.

repeatly pumping it can aerate the fluid and you will never get all the air out. just push the peda to the floor, crack the bleeder, close the bleeder, let the pedal up and repeat.

Are all the bolts there for your slave cylinder? A bolt fell out on me one day and did exactley what your describing. Brought it to the dealership and they put in a new bolt. Was under warrany at that time!

Why did the original slave get replaced? It really sounds like you still have air in the system.
