Help! No clutch after fresh install
My 2008 has been sitting on jack stands for about 4 weeks after a new clutch install. I am so distraught I would do anything to get my car back at this point. Non-Mitsu auto shops don't even want me to bring the car in because they feel like its more problematic than they want to deal. Here's the lodown
My TOB and clutch went one sunny day after an aggressive downshift. I knew this was coming I just didn't know when. I got it up on stands and dropped the tranny, waited for parts to come in. Had to buy from ebay (poor kid status) with hopes that next year I can get an exedy or something work the time and just burn a cheap clutch for this year.
Clutch, Pressure plate, TOB replaced everything went well. Lines are okay, Master is okay (confirmed with bench bleed) I bought a vaccum bleeder and began the worst automotive rabbit hole of my life. When the system is bled there is a small amount of pressure in the pedal but not enough to engage. If I bleed it for a long time and run through an entire bottle I can get a little pressure. That little pressure causes the hydraul line to blow apart from the slave cylinder t fitting.
I dropped it and replaced it for the second time a few days ago and nothing I do is bringing it back to life. Wasn't my first clutch job but its the first that's given me a problem like this.
Variables
Here are some items that make me wonder. This car as Concentric slave cylinder and I got it cheap. I wont lie, not the cheapest but second from being so. I feel like I possibly compressed it without any fluid in the system (before I read about CSC) but I can't actually pinpoint a time when I did it. I feel like the first compression it experienced was being pressed against the pressure plate on install.
Im going to replace the hydraulic line from the Master to the Slave this week. Possibly aftermarket or something, but the line is already metal so I don't really think that it's the problem.
I was thinking maybe the CSC can't hold enough pressure to actually press the pressure plate diaphragm.
I have messaged both ebay dealers that sold me the parts to confirm they fit my car (they claimed to) but im starting to doubt it. Everyone I have brought this up to is completely stumped and im not an expert to begin with.
I am really sick of dropping my transmission (since bought a jack) anyone who could chime in and help me get my poor car running again would be an angel.

If the everything was installed correctly and the system was bled correctly, then your problem should be the slave or the master cyl. Can you go through the gears with the engine turned off? If you have no pedal pressure then you aren't moving any fluid. You might want to take the little boot off on the slave cyl and check if there is any fluid leaking.
I can get through the gears. I feel like when the line blows apart the slave is not functioning. I have a weird slave cylinder that is also the throw out bearing. I can get a second luk one for 50 bucks so I'm thinking about swapping them.
I kind of want to replace the lines but it's 120 for both and the t connector. I'm thinking about it

Well I think it's going to a shop. I have to get it out of the garage that it's currently in and im out of time to figure out what is keeping it from engaging. Im just hoping the shop doesn't insist on replacing the clutch too because its aftermarket.
