^ Erik take my mod list for example. I'm at 520 on just 30psi stock motor minus my "small" HKS cams... I think a red with full bolt-ons will be perfect for your setup and with your 2.2 lr you can run 38psi all day and make close to 580-600 easy lmk what you decide to do.

I think I am going to keep things around 30psi. That sounds good enough for me. And I could always turn it up for the kill if necessary

MIL.SPEC 2.2 + 80mm FP Red & 30psi = enough for this particular guy

FYI, this graph shows lbs/min airflow for the black at 32 psi - looks like about 62 lbs/min...

I'm going to be on the stock block at 30 psi and E85. I will be building the bottom end in 1-2 months so hopefully she will last until then...if not I will be building the block a little sooner, lol.

Seems like an FP Red would get you the same amount of HP at less PSI no?

A FP red could get me 450 on a mustang at about 30psi on E85 no problem but I'm going to be putting in a buschur 2.0 or 2.3 in 1-2 months and I will be running 35-40 psi so that is why I went with the black.

Help

Hi,

I have an Evo 8 w/ Stock 8 Turbo and ETS Intercooler. I'm going to get FP Black. Do you think it will be a direct bolt up to the ETS intercooler and current lower IC pipe? Thanks.

RockmanX,

Buschur said it will fit on Evo IX but Evo VIII might be a bit different. I just want to confirm. I guess I'll go ahead place the order Thanks.

If I recall, there's a different outlet pipe from the turbo to the LICP... anyone remember for sure?

That's what Jarrod from Buschur told me, I may need a lower IC pipe. I just got this car few months ago and I'm still learning. Comments?

got my black tuned yesterday on E85. My double pumper and fuel rail didn't arrive in time for the tune so I will have to wait until next week or the week after to raise the boost so for now I'm just running my 1000's and a walbro. On about 12 gallons of E85 and 1 or so gallons of 91 (had some left in the tank and didn't have the time to drain it all), I did 400/340 on a mustang dyno at 25 psi. Once I go back for the re-tune with the double pumper and a tank filled with 100% E85 the numbers will be much better.
