Question Another FP Black Thread

So I'm looking to see if anyone knows the flow rating on the Black? The Red is 60 lbs/min but I'm not to sure that I have seen the "specs" on the Black yet. Also does anyone know the inducer and exducer size for the compressor wheel and turbine wheel on the Black...

this was posted by ninekrevs in another thread...not sure how accurate these dimensions are:

FP Black
81mm HTA compressor wheel ??(1mm smaller than their 35r)
70lb/min??
67mm turbine wheel – 60/67

compared to

FP Red
76mm HTA compressor wheel - 56/76
57lb/min
67mm turbine wheel – 60/67

Thanks Aby. It sounds about right, however I really wanted to know the specs on the Black compressor wheel.

Prior to us testing the prototype, I was told that the turbo would flow close to, if not more than, 70lbs of air. Thiis proves to be very close to what we observed and logged. 566whp/60lbs=9.43 whp/lb of air on the Red(Buschur's Mustang) vs. 686/70lbs=9.8 whp/lb of air on the Black(Cobb's Mustang). The only difference being 4% lower numbers on Buschurs Mustang vs the Cobb Mustang.

I've heard the FP people reference 68lbs a minute as the 'number'.

That is correct, that is advertised! On a well setup car and a great port job on the Black it can flow 69-70lbs a minute. Should be interesting as more and more start to flood Evom with dyno graphs

Thats what Robert told me when I spoke to him as well. Mine should be shipping out soon

I will have back to back numbers as well, albeit a very low reading Mustang dyno.
