PT6262 in ... FP Red out

Installed a used Buschur tubular PT6262 kit today and took off the FP Red. It needed a fair amount of customization to fit nicely...
  • We removed the MAF honeycomb to make sure it wouldn't get sucked in
  • We had to crush the subframe connecting bar to clear the downpipe
  • We had to custom fab the lower IC pipe to fit my AGP intercooler
  • We had to cut away some of the engine support to fit the LICP
  • We had to whiz the downpipe clean as the previous owner had run over a trashbag or something and it melted to the exhaust

Hopefully get a change to dyno tune it on Monday or Tuesday.

Yes just take a small screwdriver and pull inwards from the outer edge of the honeycomb. It comes out so easily, it's no wonder these things get sucked in all the time.

Nice! I was eyeing that kit when it was up for sale. Congrats and let us know how the tuning goes.

Good luck with the project? Why all these mods ti fit the kit?

I have the same kit and when I bought it i had a 3065. Then I only changed the turbo and the o2 housing very easily. Never had fitment issues. Everything allinged perfectly with both turbos.
The difference is that I already had a bushur licp with the Buschur race intercooler...
