I might just pull it and send to fp for upgrade while i put onthe dump. Turbo was unported.
My im and tb are still stock. Tubular mani and full 3 inch exhaust s2s and other normal boltons. I believe a port of turbo im and tb are all the mods left befor a full built motor and head. I dont know how some people claim 520 djet without a dump. Im at about 450. Can the port and dump hurt me that much? Ill put on the toxic dump shortly

You can also have them check all the clearances while they have the turbo.Porting the intake manifold and throttle body will definitely help.
FWIW, I made 520 WHP Dynojet without a dump, while running 93 pump gas.

You're right man something might be off with turbo itself. 100 whp missing. Lol Perhaps at these levels of heat porting will make a big difference. Ill post up. Thanks man

I made 508whp on a dynojet without a dump. This was on 93 and meth though. Right now im in the low 500s without a dump on e85. Im having problems with fuel cut but Im hoping to fix it this weekend. Shooting for close to 600whp. I made 457whp on pump only but I had weak HKS 272 cams then
I'll see what i produce tomorrow after a dump only and 0 other mods. I'll post as " dump results" We'll see what a dump only will do to a stock block fp black pump gas combo. no ported head/t/b, im. i'm hoping a lot can be freed

For now, just a few
I forgot how fast the Evo is. Once it hits full boost, you really need to hang on
I got a lot of seat time this past weekend. I think I put something like 350 miles on it... Which is good because I am more comfortable with the power now.
It seems it rains every Wednesday so I haven't been to the drag strip yet this season.
I do have quite a few tech updates with pics that I need to post. Some minor things I've changed and thing's I've noticed. I'll probably make a huge update this week sometime

Finally went to the track last night. It was my second time up in the last two seasons with my new setup.
It was a good time, even though the track temps were around 97 F.
Had a new personal best in the Evo despite the weather, 11.7 @ 121 w/ a crappy 1.900 60 foot. Gained 26.5 MPH in the back half though!
I was running on 93 pump gas using NLTS.
Here's a vid:
Definitely waiting until the next cool track day to make some more passes. Apparently the hot weather will reduce times by 2-4 tenths and 4 MPH. Ideally I think I can get 11.1 @ 126 as she currently sits. Looks like I'll need some E85 (or put the car on a diet) to push it into the 10's. I definitely need more seat time and cooler weather.
Hoping the RS front LSD will help with my 60' times. Does anyone know where I can get an RS front LSD??

Thanks for words of encouragement!I am launching at 6000 RPM's. If I can cut a 1.6 I'd be pumped. Lowering the tire pressure down to 22 PSI helped a LOT. I forgot to let air out when I got to the track and it was spinning like crazy and making horrible noises. Not sure what else I can try, any suggestions?
Hell yeah, I love that video!
I need practice for sure.....

Not bad bink. Sounds like you are definitely having traction issues though. I actually set my street tires to 18psi and cut 1.6 60fts that way. Maybe try that next time. Don't drive home with that psi though because it will most likely ruin your tires. I'm going to the track next Friday which is a week from today.

I can try 18 instead of 22 in the tires. Whatever will help me cut a nice 60', I'll do it

How's your car doing? You get the clutch sorted out OK? Good luck at the track next week, keep me posted!

Clutch seems to be doing ok. Although I haven't tried any fast shifting but I'm sure its going to be ok. If I get into 10s I may start a new thread. Ill let you know. Btw as my signature shows I did run an 11.3@126 with a 1.6 60ft with about the same HP you have now. So your car has more potential. Keep at it.

I will keep plugging
Hopefully next week it's cooler outside and I'll lower the tire pressure more, 1.6 60's here I come!-Bink
