Im located in greenwood, just about 15 miles south of indianapolis.

Good to see some people finally posting in here and sharing their setups! I still dont have mine fully tuned yet, but it feels great, and pulls very hard with the old ported green. I would love to see what e85 can do for me, and then switching to a bigger turbo.

English Racing 2.4
JE +.020 pistons
Power Enterprise Head Gasket
L19 ARP studs
MIVEC head
modded MIVEC cam gear (to regain lost cam travel due to the taller deck)
AEM adjustable exhaust cam gear
S2 cams
FP springs
Magnus cast intake
ETS 4" Intercooler & short-route IC pipes
ETS intake
Megan O2 housing
3" Perrin DP - testpipe - HKS catback
PTE 1200 injectors
modded Walbro 255 hp

FPBlack

Head Gasket is on national backorder right now, so the parts are still scattered around in my garage.

Initially will be tuned for 92 octane and as I upgraded my fuel system will be tuned and daily driven on e85. A conversion to SD is also probably going to happen to get the restriction out from in front of the black.

I think I will be very happy with this build, lots of off-boost torque, and insane topend.

I would love to see the power you both make. I am considering either the fp black, or an hta35

Just last night. I changed the plugs, and it feels like a world of difference. It has yet to go over 3500 rpm! haha

I was told by SBR that 8400 should be about the most it sees reliably.

Very cool! If you need help with a base, safe road tune and don't mind heading up to Lafayette, we should be able to help you out fairly easily. Also, if you switch to E85 I would recommend the Injector Dynamics Bosch 1000s. I have had a lot of luck with them on E85.

What are your plans with the car? Drag, track? I wish I had that 2.4

Ive actually got a local down here helping me out with the tune. I plan on going with e85 in the spring after i save money from christmas hours. Im looking to just have a fun street car as ive still got a year and a half in school, and cant afford to track the car, in case something breaks. Im looking to get a 35r or something similar in the near future, get a double pumper, some 1350 injectors, have the tranny built, and be good to go. But only time will tell.

I appreciate the offer though!

I would love to see a 2.4 pulling all the way to 9000rpm. I will wait to see if Buschur pulls it off...

Let's say that you have a turbo that has full boost around 5600rpm and pulls all the way to 9000rpm without droping the power curve on a 2.0 stock bore block.

If you change to a 2.4 block what the gain in spool would be? Will it be let's say 5000rpm? Will it be even sooner?

Mike took his 4G64 built block to over 9k on his EVO IX all the time. That car was a BEAST! We know how to build a great 2.4L ; )
